This Wagga Wagga new build was designed with intention from the start. The concrete wasn’t an afterthought — it was central to the whole aesthetic, and the clients knew exactly what they wanted. Blue metal aggregate with bluegum oxide added to the cement, bringing warm earthy tones that sit beautifully alongside the rammed earth features throughout the home.
Inside we went partial exposure, low gloss. Just enough aggregate to give the floor depth and character without it competing with everything else in the room. The bluegum oxide comes through with a quiet warmth at this level of exposure, and the low gloss keeps it grounded rather than reflective. Considered, not loud.
Outside, the pool surround and paths got our Pavilion Finish — full exposure grind, acid etched, UV stable coating and a non-slip surface built for outdoor conditions. The transition between inside and out is seamless. Standing inside looking through to the pool, the floor reads as one continuous surface — and that doesn’t happen without careful planning at the design stage.
The steps got the same attention as the main surfaces. Every edge, riser and tread finished to the same standard. It’s the kind of detail that separates a good concrete floor from a great one.
We’d love to be part of your next build or renovation across Albury Wodonga, Wagga Wagga and the region.
